The Qur'an is the last testament from Allah (God Almighty) to humanity. It is the timeless treasure of guidance and truth, unlocking the secrets and mysteries of life and death, and providing us with a belief and universal value system that transcends our differences in race, colour, ethnicity and nationality. It represents the fountainhead of Divine guidance that started with Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) and ended with Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The Quran describes signs of God's existence in the universe and how everything is carefully placed in the total scheme of creation. Unlike any other book, its meaning and its linguistic presentation form one unbreakable whole. Each and every word, even the individual alphabets, have been preserved without the slightest alteration, admixture or adulteration whatsoever.
The Qur'an deals with all subjects which concern us as human beings: wisdom, doctrine, worship, and law, but its basic theme is the relationship between God and His creatures. There are also many verses in the Qur'an concerned with scientific phenomena that are astounding. It is impossible to explain their presence in human’s terms, given the state of knowledge at the time the Qur'an was revealed.
